Spent the afternoon with some friends dry land snowboarding at Riverside park in Auburn Hills. The pictures mainly show the setting up process. The final set up used Powderpak, a rail, and a Banshee Bungee. Stay tuned for video footage.

Headed out to Pontiac, Michigan to film some urban snowboarding with the Banshee Bungee, Canon 60D, Jon Tollefson and David Zemens. Jon is featured snowboarding, while David helped with pulling the bungee and filming Jon with the Kodak Zi8.

Jon Kiester and Alex Appelbe show us how to fun while snowboarding at Bear Mountain with the Go Pro Camera. This is a teaser for an up coming video that will feature freestyle skiing and snowboarding at Bear Mountain, Snow Summit, and Mt. High.

This was my first time filming with the ContourHD 1080p camera on the snow. So you won’t see any crazy ski and snowboard tricks or sick shots in this video. I’m still getting a feel for the best way to use this camera.
Mt. Holiday is a great little ski hill in Traverse City, Michigan. It overlooks the East Grand Traverse Bay. We were surprised to see some fresh tracks in the snow. I wouldn’t call it powder skiing, but it was close enough for me.

The Otsego Edit made it into a blog post from Pure Michigan. They initially caught the video on Twitter and liked it so much they decided to keep it for their March link round up. Here we are a week later and it’s up!
Think Feel Pictures – The Otsego Edit – Louie Vito, JJ Thomas, Matt Ladley, Steve Fisher, Zach Black, Simon Dumont, Kelly Marren, and Kaitlyn Farrington visted The Otsego Club’s O Park to train for the Winter Dew Tour and Winter X Games 15.
The main attraction that brought Simon Dumont and the members of the US Snowboard to The Otsego Club was their 22 foot superpipe in the O Park. Right next to the superpipe there was a half pipe to acrobag set up for learning and practicing new tricks. Most of the athletes were practicing their double corks.
