Three time X Games medalist Sammy Carlson and his best friend Scott Rowley recently biked over a thousand miles from Oregon to Utah with the goal of promoting autism awareness. The trip, which they called Hood River 2 Ogden (H20) took ten days. Along with promoting awareness, H20 also has a goal of raising $25,000 for Talk About Curing Autism (TACA), a company that provides support and information to families affected by autism.
One in every 91 children is diagnosed with autism or an autism spectrum disorder. This is the fastest growing disorder in the United States. As of now H20 has raised 10% of their $25,000 goal for TASA. Please donate to this important cause! Visit www.tacah2o.com to donate or to learn more.

I first heard of the Chicken Wings and Grape Kool Aid Throwdown on Skidazzle.com. A snowboarding competition in the middle of June? I wasn’t sure what it was going to be like and I didn’t know anyone who was going. As I was driving up the Los Angeles Crest Highway I got to a stretch with a mass amount of cars. I saw a patch of snow in the distance and slowed to a stop, leaving my camera in the car. I walked up to find “The Patch”, a last bit of winter lingering in what was almost mid summer.
